Family Stays
Families with critically ill children travel from all over Alabama and beyond for the world-class pediatric care found in Birmingham. They face many stressors along their journey, and the mission of Ronald McDonald House Alabama is to comfort, care and support them through Family Stays that keep them close to their child during this time.
Our commitment to caring for families and sick children is backed by research that shows supporting the entire family results in better outcomes for all.
Private Bedrooms
Families are provided a private bedroom.
Private Bathrooms
Each bedroom has a private bathroom.
Homecooked Meals
Our chef provides nutritious meals.
Laundry Facilities
Three laundry rooms are within the House.
Indoor/Outdoor Play
Areas to allow kids to be a kid in a safe space.
Family Activities
A variety of family activities are provided.
